Information about visiting ships is kept in the form of a database which can be searched using the menu on the left hand side of the screen under the following categories:
- Company
- Date of visit
- IMO number
- Flag
- See a full list
- View the latest updates
- Search by name
- Search by port of registry
- Search by type of ship
To search for a ship, click on the 'Search by....' button to open the list of possible searches.
Photos are initially displayed in the form of a thumbnail
which expands to a larger photo when clicked.
Follow the on-screen instructions to navigate between
groups.
You can also browse the complete database by selecting the 'full listing' option in the menu.
RECENT UPDATES:
The most recent visitors to the River Tyne can be viewed using the 'Latest Updates' function on the menu.
TALL SHIPS 2005:
Every one of the 94 visitors to Newcastle/Gateshead from the July 2005 Tall Ships Races is pictured on the site. To view these, search by ship type and select Barques, Tall Ships, Schooners, Ketches or Yachts.
